Check the times on two clocks
The Missing Coat
A raincoat goes missing during dinner at a local hall. Check two clocks and three visits to find out who took it.
5 MINUTE DETECTIVEA SHORT STORY. A FEW CLUES.
A missing coat. A parcel sent to the wrong shop. An empty display case. Each short mystery gives you three people, a set of clues and one answer to work out.
Read the story, check its rules and follow the clues. There is no timer or score. Everything is on the page, so you do not need to start a game. A few notes on paper can help you sort the times or match the clues.
Check the times on two clocks
A raincoat goes missing during dinner at a local hall. Check two clocks and three visits to find out who took it.
Match each parcel to a person
Three people pack three parcels for different shops. Who sent a bicycle light to the bookshop? Match the people, stickers and addresses.
Check how the award could be taken
An award vanishes from a glass case while its lid stays sealed. Check the ways it could leave the case and the tools each person had.
The page gives you every fact you need. The rules tell you what to trust and what can be ruled out. You do not need special knowledge or a guess about who is lying. Look for a clue that rules out each other person.
Stuck? Each puzzle has two hints. The first gives you a place to start. The second gives more help. When you are ready, open the answer to see how the clues fit together.
These short stories are separate from the seven game cases. Their answers will not spoil the main games.
